Do you enjoy uplifting people in your community, being healthy, and staying active? The Asian Medical Clinic of Fremont is a 501(c)3 non-profit, state-recognized organization, and we are hosting our First Annual Walkathon on November 5th to fight disease with fun exercise, activities, and health-saving information for everyone! We want to show appreciation for our local senior citizens by bringing them out to join the community for a social, active day in the park - leave others feeling happier and healthier, yourself included! We are offering discounted registration to senior citizens, and free registration to residents of retirement homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
Join the walking movement that everyone's jumping into! Awesome habits like walking have been shown to prevent common diseases and lead to a happier, healthier life at any age. Regular exercise is especially important for senior citizens in order to live a better, longer life. Whether they are our friends, parents, or grandparents, hundreds of thousands of people die too early each year from cardiovascular disease and other preventable diseases. We only ask that you register, walk or run, eat, have tons of fun playing active games with people your age, and uplift our loved senior citizens too!
Our organization is passionate about providing modern Western healthcare for any individual in the community, regardless of their ethnicity, language, or income. We are doing our best to eliminate healthcare miscommunication for local residents with experienced doctors who are multilingual in Chinese, Punjabi, and English - we feel that this is a unique resource for patients, many of whom do not speak English. In addition, many patients are low-income or elderly, and so rely on our clinic to accept
insurance such as Medicare and Medicaid. Join us to benefit these patients and the local community by spreading health awareness!
